Originally from England, Iain was a standout player at Stratford Academy and was a four-year starter for the Eagles leading them to two State Championships during his career ('92 & '95).He currently holds the career shutout mark at 29.75.He went onto play for Brewton Parker College of Mount Vernon, GA as well as Queens University of Charlotte, NC. He played for 2.5 years before becoming the assistant/goalkeeper coach for Queens. He graduated with a Psychology degree in 2001. During his time in Charlotte he coached South Mecklenburg High School for the boys and girls teams respectively. Iain returned to Macon in 2003 and has been actively involved with the soccer community as a soccer trainer/goalkeeper coach. Iain is one of the few experienced goalkeeper trainers in the area and currently holds the USSF D license as well as the NSCAA State & Regional Goalkeeping Diplomas. Iain serves as the Boys & Girls Head Soccer Coach locally at Mount de Sales Academy. He was selected GISA Coach of the Year in 2005, 2007 (Boys) & 2007 (Girls) and was Macon Telegraph Middle Georgia Boys Coach of the Year for 2005/06.
